To Kiss the Sea Shanty
Fancy a sea shanty?
When I commissioned @foraoise.writes to write this collection of poems for TO KISS THE SEA, I had no idea she'd throw in my very own sailing song!
This is the last installment of the collection for TKTS, but I would LOVE to do this again! Thank you so much Foraoise, for taking my somewhat vague request and turning it into something so fun and beautiful!

[Image: Three slides, each with a brown paper cutout of a girl with long hair, facing away towards a cliff where a mermaid lays at the base. In the sky are a paper bird and clouds. Written in the center of each slide are the verses of a sea shanty: "Here be a sailor’s dream; a world full of starlight and I. O’ let the wind carry thee there to these Isles, free from care where skybirds all cry, where foamhorses leap high (and beneath, many treasures doth lie) Nature surrounds, bounties abounds lead us to an adventurous land. O’ wind carry thee there to these Isles, free from care where skybirds all cry, where foamhorses leap high (and beneath, many treasures doth lie) With e’v’ry wave a new tale is told, of pirates so bold, sea maidens of old an ancient prophesy, hidden for centuries. So! raise a flagon these seafarers who brave the storm in the hope they find a new and most wondrous morn. O’ wind carry thee there to these Isles, free from care where skybirds all cry, where foamhorses leap high (and beneath, many treasures doth lie) So let us set sail upon high waves you lads and lasses, sally forth and be brave! the Birde Isles awaits."]
