What Am I Reading Wednesday (11/11/2020)

I know...I dropped the ball on this one.

This edition of WAIRW was supposed to be published in October, I apologize for the delay. As I sometimes do, I over-booked myself that month. Before I knew it, we were in November and I hadn't published anything on the blog.

So, here is the belated What Am I Reading Wednesday featuring Rain City Lights by Marissa Harrison!

Title: Rain City Lights

Author: Marissa Harrison

First Reading: Yes!

Initial Impression: This story drew me in from the very beginning, the scene was beautifully set.

Final Thoughts: Hands down, one of the best books I've read this year.

Rain City Lights is a coming of age story set in 1980s Seattle. The main character, Monti, and her best friend Sasha deal with a number of cultural and socioeconomic issues as they grow up together. All with an ongoing murder investigation lurking in the background.

If you have a thing for slow-burn love, serial killers, and the grunge music scene, this is a book for you!

In case you missed it, Marissa Harrison was my guest here on the blog in September. Rain City Lights is her debut publication and is available now.
