Even though I've been following it for years and cheering my writer friends on...I've never participated in NaNoWriMo! 

This isn't going to be my first year starting a new book from scratch for NaNo, but I am going to use this as an opportunity to buckle down on the final chapters of To Kiss the Sea. My deadline for the first draft is *December 31* and I want to make New Year's Eve a double celebration!
