A Jane Austen Giveaway (January 2019 Book Giveaway)
It's time for the first of the announced 2019 Book Giveaways!
What better way to kick-off the year of Writing Desk Blog book giveaways, than with a double Jane Austen feature? That's right, for the January 2019 giveaway we will have not one, but two winners!
How could we not do a Jane Austen giveaway without including a copy of Pride & Prejudice? It is undoubtedly one of Austen's most famous works, and I especially like this version because it includes notes on terms that might be unfamiliar to a reader not living in Regency England.
Title: Pride & Prejudice
Author: Jane Austen
Format: Paperback
Edition: Dalmatian Press Classics: Unabridged & Annotated
Sense & Sensibility is one of Austen's novels that I actually saw the movie first and it gave me the immediate urge to go read the book. (Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman? Magic!) Austen was a master at weaving together the lives of multiple characters within the same story line.
Title: Sense & Sensibility
Author: Jane Austen
Format: Paperback
Edition: Signet Classic: 1995 Movie Cover Version with Introduction by Margaret Drabble

This giveaway is open to the US and CANADA only.
Entries will be accepted until Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Midnight EST.
The winners will be randomly drawn after the entry period is over.
Good luck!
Additional Giveaway Note: While many of the books I give away this year will be new publications, some even sponsored by authors featured on the blog, there will also occasionally be books I bought to read myself and decided to share with everyone in the form of a giveaway. I want everyone to know that I would never give away a book in poor condition as a prize. Any personal books I decide to feature will always be in good condition.
